Old Man Noah's Floating Zoo

Old man Noah heard a voice from God above.
The Lord said,
Noah get ready for the comming flood.
Go build an ark to be a floating zoo
and fill it with animal two by two.
Noah get ready for the flood.
The Lord spoke,
Noah don't forget that the animals must be fed.
Go fill the ark with lots of food and feed,
and to grow crops later,
bring along some seed.
Noah was getting ready for the flood.
Noah saw two hippos walking his way.
The Lord spoke,
Noah, the animals are coming today.
Go fill your ark with two of everything,
from the swinging apes
to the birds that sing.
Old man Noah
you'll make it through the flood.
Noah put his family on to the ark.
The Lord said, look Noah!
The Rain is near and the sky is dark.
Go close the door, for the flood is here.
Just hang on tight. You have nothing to fear.
Be brave Noah, you'll make it through the flood.
Noah heard it rain for 40 days.
The Lord said,
Noah, the rain is gone but the water stays.
So Noah waited out the months,
until the water receeded.
Then he sent a dove to find the land that he needed.
Noah had made it through the flood.
Noah said prayers and thanks for the land.
The Lord said,
Old man Noah continue on as a rightious man.
Go tell all the animals,
two by two,
that it is time to depart from their floating zoo.
Noah, the animals have made it through the flood.
Noah saw God's rainbow up above.
The Lord said,
Noah, forever more,
the whole world won't flood.
So, start life fresh now that the land is dry.
Go in peace, be fruitful and multiply.
